New out-of-hours support arrangements

21 Aug New out-of-hours support arrangements

We are very pleased to announce that from 1st September 2018, we will be working in partnership with another local practice in the provision of emergency services out-of-hours. If your pet needs to be seen when we are closed, we now have access to a nearby facility, which has a veterinary surgeon and a veterinary nurse on duty throughout the night. After consultation with a member of our team, if it is appropriate you will be given directions to their premises (which are only 1 mile away from our Leamington branch). In-patients requiring constant intensive care overnight will also be transferred (free of charge) to these premises whilst we are closed, in orderĀ  to provide the best level of care that we can arrange for you. They will be transferred back to our branch during the day, when they will remain under our care.

We will continue to handle all enquiries out-of-hours and will be able to advise on the most appropriate course of action for your pet. Charges for these services will either be billed directly to you at the time of discharge or, in some circumstances, will be transferred through to your account with us if you have one. This will be explained to you at the time.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding these arrangements, please ask a member of staff, who will be happy to reassure you.
